Here are my five top tips for a week in Bozel, Les 3 Vallées:
1. Stay at Chalet 'Le Nant' - This spectacular chalet is located just a five-minute walk from the centre of Bozel. It is equipped with everything you need and more, and is the perfect place to relax after a long day skiing. The house is spotlessly clean, modern and spacious, with the most comfortable beds and cosy spaces to unwind in.
2. Eat - Sample local cuisine at Sant Roc (must try the tartiflette!), try tasty burgers at Le Branzin, and take away delicious pizzas at La Storia- highly recommend the goats cheese pizza in particular!
3. Bar 'Le Bistrot' - Enjoy a drink at the end of a long day skiing, and chat to the wonderfully friendly owner about beer and the local area.
4. Go the the bakery - 'When in France......'! You must try the pastries or a particularly indulgent dessert after a long day in the mountains at Boulangerie Pâtisserie 'Au Caprice' in the centre of town. You definitely won't regret an almond croissant each morning before heading out!
5. Ski - Les 3 Vallées is the largest ski resort in the world, and Bozel is the perfect base from which to explore the area. Head 10 minutes down the road (by car or free ski shuttle) to Courchevel. From here you can cover the entire ski area reaching across to Méribel, Saint Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires and Val Thorens.
